Arrochar Gaelic Language & Cultural Society (AGLCS) is a nonprofit voluntary community group that has been formed to promote the use of the Gaelic language in our community and further afield so that our Gaelic language is used more often in a wider range of situations and is clearly recognized as an integral part of Scottish life and culture. Through our activities, the events we run including the Arrochar Music Festival promoted here and the teaching and workshop programmes we provide, we want to support the Bòrd na Gàidhlig and the National Gaelic Language Plan of Scotland in growing and maintain our Gaelic language, culture and heritage.
