Community events like ours aspire to foster genuine human connection and cultural continuity through shared experiences. There is so much value and richness in our folklore, our language, the melodies, the dance, the music, the arts and crafts that shaped our identity, we aim to keep ours alive.
As the Gaelic saying goes: “Cuimhnich air na daoine bhon tànaig thu...”, “Remember the people from who you descend”.
Events like ours are a valuable part of the Gaelic Economy which plays a vital role in sustaining our rural and island communities.
